Refund Policy

1. Our Promise

We want you to genuinely enjoy ThreadPilot. If your Pro subscription isn't working out for you, we offer a no-questions-asked refund within 14 days of your payment. Take your time to actually use the product — train a persona, generate replies, see if it sounds like you — and if it doesn't deliver, ask for your money back.

2. Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if: (a) you request it within 14 calendar days of the original payment date; (b) you have not previously received a refund on the same subscription; and (c) the request is genuine — meaning your account has not been used to abuse our smart pacing safeguards, generate spam, or violate our Terms of Service.

3. What's Refundable

Both monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within the 14-day window, regardless of how much you've used the product during that period. After the 14-day window, refunds are issued at our discretion and only in exceptional circumstances (for example, a confirmed billing error or a documented service outage that prevented use).

4. Renewal Refunds

Subscription renewals (the second and subsequent billing cycles) are not automatically eligible for a refund. You can cancel any time from the extension to prevent the next renewal — once cancelled, you keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period and then move to Free without losing your personas. If a renewal charge surprised you, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we'll review the case.

5. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Razorpay. The amount typically reflects in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not issue refunds as account credit, vouchers, or to a different payment method than the one originally charged.

6. After a Refund

Once a refund is processed, your Pro access ends immediately and your account moves back to the Free plan. Your personas, training posts, and generation history remain intact — you can keep using ThreadPilot on the Free tier or upgrade again in the future.

7. Chargebacks

If you're unhappy with a charge, please reach out to us first — we respond within one business day and will resolve eligible refunds quickly. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.

How to request a refund

Refunds are processed manually so we can read every request. Please open a support ticket and tell us, in your own words, what didn't work for you. Honest feedback — even when it's critical — is genuinely the most valuable thing you can give us, and it directly shapes what we build next.

    Open a support ticket

    Use the contact form linked below or email [email protected] from the address tied to your ThreadPilot account. This helps us verify ownership of the subscription.

    Use the subject line: "Refund request"

    Adding "Refund request" to your subject helps us route your message to the right person and start the review faster.

    Share the payment reference

    Include the date of your most recent Pro payment and, if you have it, the Razorpay payment ID (you can find it in your receipt email). This lets us locate your invoice instantly.

    Tell us why — honestly

    What did you expect ThreadPilot to do? Where did it fall short? Was it the reply quality, the persona learning, the pricing, the onboarding, the extension UX? The more specific you are, the better. Even one or two sentences of honest feedback helps us improve the product for everyone.

    We'll respond within 1 business day

    If your request meets the policy above, we'll confirm the refund and trigger it through Razorpay the same day. The amount reflects in your account within 5–10 business days. If we need more information, we'll ask politely — no back-and-forth required.
